About Us
The Ovarian Cancer Orange County Alliance (OCOCA),
formerly known as The Orange County Ovarian Cancer Coalition
was established in January 2003. We are a non-profit 501(c) (3)
corporation and a partner member of the Ovarian Cancer National
Alliance (OCNA) based in Washington D.C.
Who We Are
OCOCA is comprised of Ovarian Cancer survivors, friends and
family members who have been touched by Ovarian Cancer, and
medical and health care professionals. We truly understand what
hearing the words “You have Ovarian Cancer” means. We are an all
volunteer organization and serve as a non-profit advocacy group.

What We Do
OCOCA works to educate the community about Ovarian Cancer.
Education and awareness is the key to early diagnosis...and
early diagnosis is the key to survival. Our goal: Saving women’s
lives.
Awareness
OCOCA participates in a wide variety of
community events including health fairs, walk/runs and
showcasing our quilt.
Education
OCOCA operates a Speakers Bureau with trained volunteers who
provide free presentations to interested professional,
educational and community groups.
Support
OCOCA assists newly diagnosed women and women in treatment for
Ovarian Cancer by offering outreach, information and telephone
support.
